Mountain Biking School Pond Trail
#889 of 1,430 mountain bike trails in Colorado
This trail (Trail 2 on the ground) is better ridden clockwise imo. The downhill to School Pond is better in that direction, and the climb out to Aspen Trail is not bad. This trail serves as a good access trail to the other trails in this part of the park, including Ranger Ridge, Stoner Mill and Aspen.

Follow the main road (Wapiti Road) through the park west for 1.2 miles to the School Pond Trailhead on your left. It is before the Visitors Center.
If ridden clockwise, you get a good downhill to School Pond with a moderate climb out to Aspen Trail. Enjoyed the trail and the forest.
