Follow the main road (Wapiti Road) through the park first west and then north for 2.5 miles to the Black Bear Trailhead and parking lot on your left. Lots of parking available. Access the trail from either Homestead Trail or Geer Pond as it connects the two.
There are better trails nearby, but it is a beautiful draw/drainage.
