2026 marks the 35th running of Wellington’s oldest multisport event. Based around the icon outdoor elements of Wellington's Hutt City this 54k scenic tour showcases the hills, beaches, harbour and river that make our Capital the outdoor wonderland that it is. Attracting around 400 entrants every year, participants enter as individuals or teams in either the full multisport format (13k Kayak, 28k Mountain Bike, 13k Trail Run) or as duathletes (mountain bike/run). Past winners have included no less than 12 world champions, but first and foremost "The Crazyman" is a community event embracing all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
