We’d been hearing rumors that Jenson USA might start selling YT bikes following the abrupt closure of the brand’s US operations less than two weeks ago. Now, select models are appearing on the online retailer’s website.
Initiallly, the bike models offered for sale were only available in extreme sizes like XXL, and even so, most of them sold out within less than 24 hours. Today, Jenson USA has added Capra builds in additional sizes. For example, this 2025 YT Capra Core 2 carbon fiber enduro bike is available in either large or small, though the website notes there is only one of each for sale as of the time of writing. It’s priced at $2,299, which is 45% off the retail price. Jenson USA also has an aluminum version of the Capra in small, medium, and XXL sizes, discounted by 43%. Buyers looking for a large or extra large Capra will need to go with the aluminum Core 3 build on offer… and only in yellow.
Listed discounts for the bikes range from 42-50% off the original retail price, with savings up to $2,000 on some models.

YT-branded frames and parts come with no warranty, but some components do
Each YT product listing on the Jenson USA features a warning in red stating, “IMPORTANT | There is no warranty provided for this bike from Jenson USA or YT.” A more detailed explanation notes that frames are not covered by a warranty, and “any YT Industries bike sold by Jenson USA does not include any warranty for frameset parts such as linkage, bearings, derailleur hangers, etc. Neither Jenson USA nor YT Industries will honor any warranty for frameset parts.”
However, Jenson USA notes that buyers do get a warranty on non-YT parts and components, which make up a significant portion of the builds. The retailer explicitly notes that bikes with Bosch or Fazua motors utilize batteries from those manufacturers, and so the motor and battery will be covered. Shimano motors are covered, though, from the sound of it, YT used their own battery with Shimano-motor-equipped bikes, and therefore those batteries will not be covered under warranty. At the moment, Jenson USA is not selling any YT electric bikes or parts, though this detail suggests that Jenson USA may sell YT eMTBs or parts in the future. Update: Jenson USA has at least one YT eMTB available for purchase, the YT Decoy MX CF Core 3 2024.
Suspension components, drivetrains, and wheels — as long as they are not YT-branded — come with the original manufacturer’s warranty.
YT ordered too many bikes, then a problem with a supplier delayed new bikes
Like many brands, YT struggled to balance supply and demand during the COVID years. In late 2020, Flossman handed the reins over to a new CEO, and the brand took on a private equity investment in 2021 to help fund the brand’s expansion. Ultimately, YT ended up with an oversupply of bikes at a time when other brands were facing the same situation, leading to what Flossman describes as “a brutal discount war for survival.”
On February 19, 2024, Flossman returned as CEO, taking over from Sam Nicols, who led the brand for three years. Flossman and his team worked to cut costs and improve operations, which he says had the brand on track to recover until they were faced with new challenges earlier this year.
“A key supplier failed us with quality issues and delivery delays right when we needed them most,” he says in this video announcement.” At the same time, the US market became widely unstable. Everything from natural disasters to chaotic trade policies hit consumer demand hard.”
Despite promises that the German company’s insolvency filing would not affect US operations, on October 31 YT Industries USA announced their immediate closure. YT Mill showroom locations were shuttered and the company removed customer contact information from their website.

That said, at 50% off, for some of these bikes, it's almost like you're paying for the parts and getting a free frame as a bonus!

Which is the vast majority
Only the rare people who have frame damage post.
I've had an Izzo Pro Race for 5 years, ridden bike parks and lazy trails, 10' drops, 10' gaps and many crashes
I know, that's not 'big' stuff, but it's big for me
Nothing wrong with the frame outside of paint chips - which I consider a proud battle scar
These bikes are a steal if you want a new steed
