Mountain Biking Macanta Community Trails

**   Add a review
#1,043 of 1,430 mountain bike trails in Colorado
#15,621 in the world

There are four different trails in the Macanta Community thus far. It appears they will develop more in time and connect them hopefully. Thus far, the best two trails are ZigZag and Enchanted Forest. These can be connected to make a three mile long route. The other two are Wild Child and Brake Check. All the trails are mostly narrow singletrack. There is nothing very technical here, but it's still okay riding, probably not worth driving very far for. Most of the trails are laid in along pretty little valleys of ponderosa pine, scrub oak, and grass openings. The trails mostly stay near houses which is a bit undesirable, but the little valleys are pretty. There is potential here over time, but for now this is a lesser mountain biking options.

Not a bad day to ride but there are better options nearby I would be going to over this. I didn't the full time to get to Scott Gultch Trail and the other side of the neighborhood, will come back to get a full review. If there is a hidden gem, unless it is more of the same.

There are just a handful of short trails here and only two are connected. Hopefully the system will develop more and become more connected as the community is developed. Most of the current trails are singletrack.
