Little Sugar is a massive trail network boasting nearly 50 miles of mostly blue-rated singletrack that's steeper, punchier, and chunkier than its neighbor Back 40. The trails here are popular with XC and gravel riders looking to rack up miles through rolling terrain punctuated by multiple stream crossings and rainbow LED-lighted tunnels.
Hidden toward the middle of the network sits the Chelsea Huntley Gravity Zone, a special little nugget that sees the most traffic per mile of any trail in the Oz system. This compact jump zone offers something for every level rider: Rendezvous is a super fun green trail, Shock and Awe delivers jump-focused blue terrain, and Tango Whiskey is pure berms—a little taste of Whistler.
The trails routinely intersect paved roads crisscrossing the area, so while sections can feel remote, you're never more than a mile or two from civilization. Riders spread out quickly from the trailheads, making it common to have miles of trail to yourself, especially midday.
The finish on the flowy Down Under Trail features a chip-seal singletrack surface with grippy rollers, switchbacks, and berms that caps off rides with speed and style.

Awesome, awesome trail. You ride underneath a rocky overhang much of the time, carving through challenging but workable rocky bits. Not a trail for beginners, it is really for advanced riders who are confident in their bike handling. Drop-off on one side throughout, but worst parts are roped off to catch you if an untimely crash occurs. Probably my favorite trail that I rode in a week in Bentonville, for both the beauty and the challenge.
Thank |Some tough climbs, some flow. I only rode 14 miles from Lake Avalon. There is a rest stop in Bamboozled that has beer and water . A few creek crossing and awesome views of several different waterfalls. Mostly small aggregate and rocks . Omse smalll fun side loops . Got off track a couple times
Thank |, not all signs have been installed yet. A lot like riding back 40 which connects to Tunnel Vision .
I save my 5 stars for the truly epic rides, and I'm probably between 3 and 4 stars for this new trail near Bentonville. Its another well-constructed trail in NW Arkansas. Mostly machined flowy trails with lots of berms and a few smaller jumps and rollers, not much tech unless you include tight switchbacks. Several tougher climbs, although not Rocky Mountain-type climbs. Like several NW Arkansas trails, the soil could get "gravely" but this newer trail isn't bad yet. Definitely worth adding to your Bentonville itinerary.
