To reach Contra Loma from Highway 4 in Antioch, exit on Lone Tree Way, go right on Golf Course Road and right on Frederickson Lane to the park.

The loop around the lake is great for small children. I ride this loop from my house to the lake with my kids often and they enjoy it every time. Not much offered in the way of a challenge for adult riders but the back side of the stuartville trail that connects to the black diamond mines is on the left right before you enter the park.
| Thank****the trail shown on the TOPO map is NOT the trail I have reviewed, that is the stewartville trail witch is not at all an easy family friendly ride once you reach the wall at the end, once at the top of that wall you can ride the ridge trail which is about the most fun to be had in this area.
