In addition to my article on mountain bikeable summits, I’m researching the best descents the Breadbasket has to offer. Any downhill runs between the Dakotas to the west, Ohio to the east, Minnesota to the north, the Northern Arkansas to the south are fair game. I’m only really familiar with the Upper Peninsula’s descents, so I’m excited to see what others have to say!

Some pretty good descents in Arkansas, especially in the Ozarks. Places like Syllamo have some pretty sustained downhill trails.
One section of the Ouachita trail in western Arkansas has a 700 foot descent…
