Hey all…my rear wheel is beyond repair and i cant seem to find a wheelset that will fit. I have a 2014 Specialized Camber 29 that takes a 12mmX142mm thru bolt. I bought a set of WTB’s with Novatec hubs but it has a QR skewer and doesnt fit right.
Any suggestions as to how to proceed?

You’ve a few choices.
- Look up the Novatec hub spec as you may be able to swap the guts on it. This would be the least expensive option, but you’ll need to work with a lbs that can do it for you if you are not so inclined.
- Sell the WTB wheelset that you goofed on and get the correct one to fit your bike.
- Keep the WTB wheelset, buy the correct hub (12 X 142 and the correct spoke count) and have a lbs wheel builder rebuild it for you.
- Keep the wheelset and buy a new rear wheel that will fit. Sell or keep the incorrect one.
Party.
