Even with the disapproving look from my better half I managed to get in a short ride today. Nice and peaceful. Chutes in Santiago Oaks, Anyone else ride.

Managed to get in a couple hours at Alafia with my wife and BIL. The trick was inviting the wife. We had a blast and it helped my BIL break in his new bike!

I just rode the couch and ate junk all day 😄 It’s been too wet to ride here and today we were graced with a nice wintery mix/pouring down rain…blegh.

I really wish that I could be riding at this time of the year. It was around 11degrees this morning, and then it got to the high of 22degreed today. There is still a bunch of really icy snow leftover from last week’s snow blizzard.
I can’t wait until Spring to ride again.

11 degrees never stopped me from riding. Ice, on the other hand . . .
Time to wax & sharpen the skis.

Yeah, temperature is no excuse to stop riding! There are way too many clothing options to block against cold weather. 😎

I am already stuck in snow and it is hard to even walk so I am just sitting here and waiting for the spring to come 😀
Meanwhile will do some snowboarding and stuff.
I was working one of my project ([url:4rocf23p]http://mcjonline.com/[/url:4rocf23p]) so I didn’t have much time to ride but I will do more riding during Spring and Summer. -

I did a nice two hour 30 mile road ride on Christmas day. It was nice, got me out of the house after breakfast, and home in time for lunch.
It’s been two wet to hit the trails recently here.

Rode this morning my phone read 9° and under armour cold gear seemed to get the job done! 😃 just my feet and hands got a bit numb i need good warm riding gloves! Any suggestions?
The Pearl Izumi Barrier gloves are the best I’ve used for blocking the cold. They make a few different "Barrier" options, I have a pair that look and feel thick like snow gloves but they still give good feel on the grips.

re: winter hand protection: I ride year round. When it’s real cold I go with down filled mitts – hands & fingers stay warm! (Twist shifters make it easier) Good footwear & "toe warmers" are also a must.

I did a day before, mhen that was a mistake 😢 .. or maybe not just used to snow riding. I can stand the cold, but took me twice the time for my normal 1 hr ride coz of the snow. Saw some fat bike tracks, made me wish I have one of those… Im in the front range area of denver btw.

I feel like a big pussy I have to ride when its around 40. The one thing you can do most of the time in Southern California is spend most of your waking hours outside. I dont get to see the changing of the seasons. But on the other hand I love the sun
