A homeless man in Austin is getting a new mountain bike for Christmas this year thanks to the generosity of local residents. Bicycle Sport Shop, owned by recent mountain bike hall of fame inductee and IMBA board president Hill Abell, donated a new mountain bike plus free maintenance to Jimmy Northen, a 63-year old Austin man. Northen also received a ton of accessories for his new bike including a lock, lights, and a water bottle to keep him safe in 2008.
