Julian 7500 Death March as tough as Leadville?

posted April 19, 2007 by trek7k

Good article on the Julian 7500 Death March endurance mountain bike race in San Diego County last month. Only 12 of the 38 who started the race finished it and one racer said “This first (35-mile)¬†loop was as hard as the race in Leadville.”

Well, I dunno about a 79 mile race peaking at 5,200 feet comparing to 100 miles at 10,000+ feet but I suppose the Death March was pretty tough nonetheless.
