If you’re looking for your next mountain bike destination that offers just about everything, put Sandpoint, Idaho at the top of your list! The Lower Basin trail system serves up world-class riding through towering timber and across massive granite rock slabs, with trails for every rider — from technical black diamond descents to fast, flowy cross-country loops.

For excellent park-style riding, head up to Schweitzer Mountain Resort with dedicated downhill trails and e-bike access to more than two dozen trails. Or pedal from town to the Pine Street Woods trail system where the trails range from flowy to technical.

When you’re ready to take a break from the trails, Lake PONDERAY (Pend Oreille) is right there for camping, boating, swimming, or even standup paddleboarding. And after a big day outdoors, head into the town of Sandpoint where you’ll find a great selection of bars and restaurants to relax and refuel.

Example #2

Regular listeners know that I’m a big fan of mountain biking at night, and having a reliable, bright light is crucial. Gloworm is a mountain bike light brand founded almost a decade ago by two mountain bikers in New Zealand, and today the company offers some of the most customizable, highest quality bike lights on the market. Gloworm’s complete line of lights start at 1200 lumens and range up to a blinding 3400 lumens, all at reasonable prices.

There are a few things Gloworm does differently that makes their lights unique and highly customizable. The optics can be swapped at home depending on the types of trails you ride, and their lights use standard GoPro-style and quarter-turn mounts. Many of the Gloworm lights work with a bar-mounted remote which can be used to control one or more lights at once.

Right now Gloworm is offering 15% off all light systems on their website with the coupon code SINGLETRACKS2020. Go to glowormlites.co.nz that’s G-L-O worm L-I-T-E-S dot C-O dot N-Z
