started a topic: 2017 Trance 2 rear axle

So I bought a 2017 Trance 2 and am loving it but I noticed that the rear axle is not a maxle(???). I need an Allen key to remove it. It was...

I'm looking for some personal experience advise on which ones are good, which ones are bad, and which ones to stay away from.

I agree on the hard tail direction.   $1000 is not a lot of money when it comes to new bikes these days(relatively speaking of course), but just like you I researched...

Ok, I got it figured out.    Shock pump is good, the fork is fantastic......the user however is not switched on.   Having never used the shock pump before, I was not screwing it...

Ok so I was corrected in my previous post about not educating myself on proper air pressure in my Fox Rythym and amount of sag.    Last night I did a lot...

So I finally pulled the trigger and decided to go with the 2017 Giant Trance 2.   My LBS had it on a crazy sale and I couldn't justify spending so much...

I must be missing something or I am simply a half wit.    I'm trying to do the same but I can't find "add to this trail" button or drop down menu. Can...

I am still deciding on a full squish and my buddy pointed me to this brand which to be honest, I've never heard before.  You guys know anything about this brand, first...
Rocky Mountain Slayer 730 MSL or Commencal Meta AM 4.2 World  Cup.    Either one of those would make me the happiest man on earth.

I love the Trance 2.  I demoed it couple of days ago and it is butter.     Hopefully I will get one within the next month or so.......or get the Commencal...
I say the dropper post.    Internal routing is cosmetics as I've never heard of anyone getting injured because their cables got tangled on something.   Carbon is nice, but not mind...

Tektro Auriga brakes came with my Rockhopper.    It's a hardtail so I don't do any downhill and my trail riding is pretty tame, but even with that I noticed the brake...

I got the RF Atlas 785 mm and cut it down to 760 mm, which decreases the weight of that's your concern.   Not sure what they weigh now.  Low riser, 1.5",...
