$99 for the new 125mm Skyline MTB Dropper Post from TranzX

TranzX has a full range of mountain bike droppers and remotes to get saddles low for less money.

Long time OEM brand TranzX is bringing their first consumer-direct bike components to the market, and they’re kicking it off with a $99 dropper post (available at Amazon.com and JensonUSA). The Skyline is an internally-routed, 125mm dropper post available in 30.9 and 31.6 diameters. It features the usual sealed hydraulic cartridge and coil actuation, popped up and down by one of three different levers. Levers are sold separately for $29, which does add to the $99 cost if you don’t already have a lever.

The brand says that their routine service process only takes ten minutes, and replacement bushings, seals, and cartridges are available on the TranzX website. The posts also ship for free in the US, and include a two-year warranty.

Kitsuma 1x remote left, Hot Laps remote right.

For riders who want a little more or less travel, TranzX has you covered. Their Hot Lap post ($129) only slides down 50mm, for XC and dirt road riders who just want to get the saddle a little lower. On the longer end, the Kitsuma post ($129/$159) is available with 150, 170, or 200mm of travel, in either hydraulic/coil or air cartridge versions. Finally, if you prefer fewer cables, or your bike isn’t set up for internal cable routing, the Jump Seat post ($99) uses the good old “under saddle” lever to actuate its drop. Both the Jump Seat and Hot Laps posts are available in narrower 27.2 diameters.

The TranzX site has all additional info and purchasing options.
