The calendar has finally flipped and it’s time for professional mountain bikers around the world to announce their new or steadfast teams for 2022. Young gravity phenom, Jackson Goldstone, will be swapping jerseys from Trek to the Santa Cruz Syndicate for the coming season, and he seems quite excited with the change. Just over a month ago, Finn Iles surprised Goldstone was a Red Bull Sponsorship, so this kid should have no trouble paying the bills this season.

Goldstone will join the likes of race veteran and 2021 DH World Champ Greg Minnaar, as well as world-class rippers Nina Hoffmann and Laurie Greenland. With those three by his side, the young Canadian should be able to learn all of the nuances and skills needed to continue his path to the top.

Finishing on the podium at every event he entered in 2021, Goldstone earned a set of rainbow stripes and the UCI World Cup overall title. He finished the World cup series 50 points ahead of second-place Jordan Williams and bested Williams by 1.8 seconds at World Champs in Val di Sole.

It’s great to see young riders receiving this level of support and we look forward to following Goldstone’s new chapter with the Syndicate in 2022.
