Review: This place needs a lot of work. I knew this before riding it, but I guess I had my hopes set a little high. There was a $5 fee to ride the trail. I probably only rode 2 miles of actual single track (which was almost invisible due to pinestraw and brush). I got lost a few times because of the logging damage and eventually found my way to the highway and rode it back to the trail head. It's a shame because with a bit of work, this trail could be something nice. If you're going to be in the area and want to ride, go ride Cheraw State park. It's in great shape and flows really nicely.

Similar Trail: Fumbling around aimlessly through the woods.

Review: This place has really went downhill. I was excited to try it after I read about. I didn't even mind the $5.00 fee, but once I was in the woods, my mid changed. You can tell the trail has been forgotten - there were parts of the trail you couldn't even tell were there for the brush, weeds and lack of signs. I stumbled around for thirty minutes before I left.

If the condition ever changes, please let me know. I'll gladly come back to this website and change my view, but for now, Sandhills Forest trail is dead...

Similar Trail: Cheraw is 10 miles away and is in great shape...
