Trail Description
About this trail
Flat xc mostly, with a couple technical dips and climbs. Wide grassy trails in the meadows overlooking
the Hudson River - just PEDAL. Once you get in the woods it's twistier, rooty single track. Some dead
ends, but you can find enough loops to turn it into at least two hours of fast, and at times flowy, fun.

Review: These are not mountain bike trails. Spent way too much time pushing my bike either up or down completely unrideable hills. Many large trees down on trail, bridges are great for walkers but not for bikers, and the easy, green, grassy trails are boring and not worth the ride. It's clear no one bikes here, and you shouldn't either. Prior reviews are outdated.

Review: Easy beginner trails with the exception of the ravine decent and climb out. Some times I'll ride in front the town to add some miles into my ride

Review: You could really talk about these trails in two entries: one for the peaceful greenbelts frequented by birders and dog-walkers, and another for the wooded singletrack loops and outer segments that are for hikers and bikers. You can take the red trail to the Southport-Greenport trail, then onto the Harrier Hill park. It's really quite nice, and you can haul a** through much of it. There's one section that goes all the way down and up a ravine that feeds out to the Hudson River - swithcbacks and good climbing.
