Trail Description
About this trail
This trail is the main route up the southern portion of Northside. It consists of very steep, gravelly doubletrack on the lower reaches of the mountain. Higher up below the tree line, it is still steep, but it becomes a dirt road with a few rocks here and there. Expect small patches of snow on higher reaches of the trail until early July. You'll surely be met by some amazing views as you slowly wind your way up the mountain. Eventually, it breaks above the tree line, where it becomes less defined and slightly overgrown. It ends far above the tree line at the summit of Frazer Mountain, a 12,163 foot peak.

Review: This doubletrack road is STEEP. around every other turn you will find another hike-a-bike section. Despite this, I'll still give it a four for two reasons. First, Northside itself is incredibly steep in general, meaning there isn't really any good way to get up the mountain. Secondly, the views are amazing the whole way, and will captivate you during the pain.
