Just across from the Tsali Recreation Area; this ride follows the follows a US Forest Road southwest and climbs along a ridge. Trail configuration is out-and-back. Highlights include views of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and a great downhill. Total distance is 13.4 miles. Trail Directions: From start turn right on NC 28. Ride 0.3 and turn left onto FS Road 2630 (Galfpen gap road). At mile 2 road forks, take left fork. Road deadends at mile 6.7.
