Trail Description
About this trail
The trail is pretty simple. 5 miles one way. Double-track road with a little climb around Bunsen Peak; downhill after the turnaround. Some of the trail has high grass, so be prepared for grass seed in your socks and/or sneezing. Bears are in the area so be bear aware. I saw one on my most recent ride. Only a black bear, but it got the heart going.

Review: Rode this mid-August of 2015. Fun ride; however, I came across a black bear on the trail about 2-3 miles in, which put a little scare in me, but all was good after that. Be bear aware though. Even though I had spray, I was alone, and discharging bear spray while riding a bike isn't the easiest thing to do.
