About this trail
I was looking for something different today. We decided to check out South Park Trail from Bruno Gulch to Geneva Creek. I was looking forward to an easy ride but it didn't turn out that way.
The ride up Bruno gulch is steep with a couple hike-a-bike sections. The trail is rocky and technical with some muddy areas. There is some fine single track! Lots of lush forest and great scenery!
South Park Trail is much like Bruno Gulch.
Some sections of this trail reminds me of Golden Gate State Park.

On your bike ride up Bruno Gulch to the South Park Trail . Turn right at South Park Trail. Follow this faint trail to Geneva Creek Road. Right on Geneva Creek road back to your vehicle

Review: I have been started where Bruno Gulch road meets with Geneva Road and started my way up Bruno Gulch Road. I just kept going straight and came to a single track and I was going to follow this. It was very rocky. very techincal but not very steep. Its awesome views and I didn't even come across anybody so the trail was mine. I went for about 45 min and turned around and went back to my car. I then went to Burning Bear trail and did the same thing. Which the trail head is 5 mins south on Geneva Road. That trail was less rocky but alittle more steep. They are some trails up in there that you can probably connect to do an epic loop but its 10,500-11,200 ft. altitude. I planning to explore this area more for sure.

Review: its hard to find all of the turns that this trail takes at times, and there are definitely some hike-a-bike sections... but the downhill at the end is so worth it! definitely worth the time and energy spent hiking around.
