Q: Why are reviewers so averse to belt drives and rohloff hubs? can you think of someone other than yourself or like yourself (same thing)? what if someone wants to tour-ize a fatbike for handling those crappy sides of the road people run you off on? I need a hybrid fat bike that is set for touring, including raising the handlbars a bit and using a brooks saddle for comfort. -Guest

Model/Year: 2015

Pros: Clearance for 5 inch tires on clown shoe rims Short chainstays, nimble for a fattie Lots of rack / bottle mounts - good for bikepacking, Alternator drop outs - lengthen wheel base for snow and 29 plus wheels Through axles front and rear Good standard spec

Cons: A little heavy, my large with pedals is 37 lbs.

Recommendation: Love this bike, bought it used for half the msrp. Mine is the Blackborow 1 which is a 2x10. Handles really well for a fat bike. Great traction and float in snow with the stock Lou's.

Pros: Amazing ride. Nimble on tech but stable at speed. My go to fat bike. dingle speed FTW

Cons: Heavy, but it's not meant to be fast

Recommendation: best adventure bike on the market IMO
