Strength, price, geometry, CCDB and it likes to jump
Nothing comes to mind
My bike prior to this was a 2010 Stumpjumper Expert. All the parts except the fork, CCDB, head bearings, BB, chain and front narrow wide chainring came from the Stumpjumper.
The El Guapo does everything better but it's not really a fair comparison since the CCDB and Lyrik are in a different league compared to the fox stuff that came on the stumpy.
The frame is much stronger, you can feel it going down steep rocky sections as well as jumps and pedaling. I always thought to my self "how the heck do people make the High Roller grip" well now I know, you need a nice fork.
