Registration will go live on Labor Day, September 1st, at 11 a.m. Route info will be final and released to all folks who purchased it No Later than November 15th, 2025. This year is the 2-hour announcement year, which means we will not announce the route direction till 2 hours before the start of the first group.
Here is what we have planned:
1. We are renting the entire campground. This means that camping in the day-use area will no longer be required or allowed. Everyone that wants to camp will get a spot! This camping spot will be where your vehicle will be parked while you complete the loop. And it allows you access to all the facilities of the campground before, during, and after your ride.
2. The HuRaCaN Challenge has never had a time limit; this year there will be. Everyone has to be off course and completed with the route no later than 11 a.m. on February 13th.
3. Your fee will cover the purchase of the information for all 4 routes. This means that if you are touring and not really interested in being scored, you can mix and match the routes and fine-tune your experience to whatever level you desire. If you want to be scored, you don’t have to choose or commit to a particular route till Trackleaders registration begins.
4. Check-in will begin on Thursday, February 5th. We encourage riders to show up early as it won’t be just a Friday night party but an opportunity to shake out the legs and party all day before you start your challenge.
5. If you do not need to camp, and just need a place to park your car the morning of the start while you ride the route, that fee is the same as it has been for previous years at $5 per day. NOTE: There is No camping, boon docking, or sleeping in your car in the day-use area; you want to camp, pay for camping. The privilege for parking in the day-use area is for convenience and does not include access to the campground.
6. There will be 2 opportunities to camp with others.
