SORBA is hosting a big bash down in Macon, GA this weekend that promises to rival any of the big summer MTB festivals. Camping Friday and Saturday night, a tour of the Thomson factory (where they make stems and seat posts), a 4 hour and 20 minute endurance race, games (including my personal favorite, bike limbo), bonfires, raffles, and group rides are just some of the things going on this weekend. Man, I almost forgot it’s January!

I plan on going down for the tour and some of the festivities Saturday afternoon and maybe getting in a morning ride at one of the local trails in the Macon area like Arrowhead or Dauset (the official SORBA group rides will be at both these trails on Sunday). If you’d like to meet up jump in on this forum thread…
