SORBA Woodstock Festival: Blankets Creek
posted September 17, 2008 by trek7k
SORBA Woodstock is holding the annual mountain bike Fall Festival at Blankets Creek on Saturday, September 27 from 9am-4pm and the singletracks crew is going to try really hard to be there (how’s that for commitment?). The festival will be the official grand opening of the new trails in Area 51 and if the event is half as cool as the posters it will be seriously dope!
Update: I forgot to include the location: The Blankets Creek trail is in Woodstock, GA just north of Atlanta.

Trek- I know SORBA is down south and this is probably outside of my striking distance but, Where is this at?
Cool poster regardless!

AK_Dan, the Blankets Creek Mountain Bike Trails are located north of Atlanta, GA in Cherokee County. We now have 15 miles of excellent singletrack on some beautiful rolling terrain along the banks of Lake Allatoona. They range in difficulty from beginner to advanced. Our trails are some of the most heavily traveled in the country but you wouldn’t know it when you ride them. Check us out at at http://www.sorbawoodstock.org and come see us when you’re in the area!
And I agree, the poster is really cool. One of our volunteers is a graphic designer and he created that poster and our web site design. We are fortunate to have such a multi-talented mountain biker who is willing to give so much back to our sport and our SORBA chapter.
