Prof. J.F. Scott to be inducted into MTB Hall of Fame this month

Professor J.F. Scott will be inducted into the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame in a ceremony at Interbike later this month and William Savage, director and producer of Klunkerz, has created a short tribute film for the occasion. I certainly don’t know much about Prof. Scott but he was the first investor in the first mountain bike company and was a mountain bike tinkerer decades before the first ‘clunkers’ rolled down Mt. Tam in Marin County. Savage sent us these images from Prof. Scott’s collection – pretty amazing stuff for the 1950s!
Singletracks will be at the ceremony and we’ll keep you posted right here on the blog – stay tuned.
