Chinese Mountain Bike Tours
The Shanghaiist had a good article about a group mountain bike tour outside the city of Shanghai near a “village” called Yiwu. If you think it’s a hassle for you to get out for a weekend ride because there aren’t any trails near your house, this article will make you realize how lucky you really are. The author makes it clear that just getting outside the city of Shanghaii is difficult to say the least and finding good dirt is challenging in China. Fortunately there is a mountain bike tour operator in the region, Bodhi, that was able to hook this group up with bikes, transport, etc. In fact this weekend Bodhi is leading a trip called “David Hasselhoff’s Moganshan Birthday Tribute Weekend.” Obviously the Hoff’s popularity knows no international boundaries.
