If you’re tired of the same old mountain bike trails on your continent, why not head south – waaaay south – to South Africa where the MTB scene is really heating up. Over on iAfrica.com they have a good article detailing 10 of the best mountain bike trails in South Africa including the “Wild Coast” ride which traverses almost 300 Km (about 190 miles) of East Cape coast line. The best part is that when it’s freezing up here in the northern hemisphere the riding conditions are downright balmy in South Africa – road trip anyone?
