In less than 10 days element22 and trek7k are hitting the Las Vegas strip for Interbike 2009 and we’re bringing everyone along for the ride! Well, not literally, but we will be posting tons of reviews, pics, videos, and info daily September 21-24 to keep you in the loop on the latest MTB stuff.

On Monday and Tuesday we’ll be hitting the trails at Bootleg Canyon for the Outdoor Demo portion of the show where we’ll test ride as many mountain bikes as we can. Then on Wednesday and Thursday we’ll be meeting with company reps to find out about the newest stuff and from the previews we’ve seen so far there will be a lot to talk about!

So… if there’s a new product you want to hear more about, let us know right here and we’ll see what we can find out. And no, you can’t stow away in our luggage :)

If you can, I’d like to see your remarks about the Pivot Cycles Mach 429 and the new carbon offerings from Scott like the revised Genius. Enjoy Vegas..what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas…well that’s what they say anyways, unfortunately for the bachelor functions I’ve attended there, some damning detail always gets leaked. Cheers

I saw a picture of a new Yeti from EuroBike. I would love some more details. I think its called the ASR-5C. Thanks.

Bootleg is really fun! Up the Girl & Boy Scout trails and around the Cauldron is fun, Mother & the Lake View trails are also a blast. If you have a morning to get to the other side of town the x-country trails out at Blue Diamond are great as well.

I do realize that the interbike event is all about the new technology, products and bike models hitting the market in the next year or so. However I wouldn’t mind seeing just a little info on the products/bikes that are the reliable standby’s, the standards, ya know- the stuff that ‘just works‘. With the hic-up we have had in our economy the past couple years I have to think there are a lot of people out here who have modified their purchasing habits and are now looking for more quality/reliability for their dollar (I know I cant be the only one). Not to mention the numerous people who were really interested in getting into the sport a couple years ago who were reluctant to lay out a few grand for a bike then and have waited hoping to find a good deal later- Now is later; What are the most reliable, best quality, ‘bang for the buck’ bikes going to be at the shops this year?
Especially for the beginner or intermediate rider?

    Thanks guys and have fun!

-The new Gary Fisher 29′er full suspension bikes
    -The new Giant carbon Trance

I’d like to see some pics of NWD10’s presentation @interbike if possible. ;)

This would be too nice. :)

  7. zedriq Says:

…and like malen said…the YETI#s would be nice…and maybe all new Fox fork stuff if there is anything.

I’m looking for any and all information on the Superfly 100 from Fisher. Great website by the way. And glad to see you are from the ATL! I’m just south in Fayetteville.

  9. trek7k Says:

Unfortunately Trek/Gary Fisher won’t be at Interbike. Since they’re “special” they just had their own show called “Trek World” in August :(

Man,at least there’s one Yeti left for me to suggest, hahaha.I would like to hear what and how the Yeti ASR-7 is doing, like the new chain stay they had to delay because it was too complicated for public consumption just yet.And how about all the goods on the new stumpjumper/specialized design of bikes plus there cammand seat post with updates that my 09′ model doesnt have. How about all the news on all the suspension forks and shocks, that would be cool to hear about. Thanks guys, thanks alot for not only getting all the news but taking suggestions as well.
