It seems like mother nature is toying with the mountain bikers. One weekend the weather is beautiful and we’re riding in shorts, the next weekend it’s snowing and cold. Even here in Georgia I’ve had to turn the heat back on again and the unpredictable rains are keeping the trails sloppy despite our epic drought. Blah.
Lindsey Bishop posted a good article on her blog about her mountain bike racing adventure in Fruita this past weekend. Actually the race itself wasn’t the adventure, driving through the snow and ice to get to the race sounded more extreme. This weather can’t last forever with global warming and all – can it?
