CNN/Sports Illustrated is reporting that Velonews says Lance Armstrong is planning to return to the Tour de France in 2009 – though the man himself has not confirmed yet. Just like Mike, I guess Lance is feeling a little bored and unloved in retirement. Or maybe he’s tired of losing mountain bike races (Leadville 100) and marathons (Boston, NY). The article also mentions specific races Lance is said to be planning to attend in 2009 including the Tour de Georgia. Woo hoo!
