Lance wins two MTB races in a row

Lance Armstrong won his second mountain bike race in a row this weekend at the 12 Hours of Snowmass with the help of teammates Max Taam and Len Zanni. The three man team completed 17 laps within the 12-hour time limit and bested second place Team Beaver Creek by just over 6 minutes (not a big margin (<1%) in a 720-minute race). The question now: will Lance be able to hold on to his streak to win 7 mountain bike races in a row? Unfortunately I don’t think we’ll get to see as his road training for the Tour is set to start right away. Ah well, it was fun while it lasted…
