The Jeep 48 Straight summer mountain bike event series was recently announced with stops at Diablo Freeride Park in New Jersey (!), The Canyons Resort in Utah, and Madonna Inn in California. Unfortunately the website is a little weak on details but promises “the largest sports, music and entertainment event in the US.” It’s unclear whether the Jeep 48 STRAIGHT series is the same thing as the Jeep King of the Mountain World Series which is in its 7th season this year. Oh yeah, and the “summer series” runs from August to October, sort of an Indian Summer I suppose… Musical acts are still TBA.
