Description: Westwoods has some great New England riding, technical rocks/roots. A couple main doubletrack type trails loops throughout with plenty of singletrack branching off. Trails are well-blazed. Plenty for everyone here, very technical riding as well as many natural stunt for the free-ride type in you. The most highly recommended area in the New Haven shoreline area.

Good variety of features, especially on the main trails (I really liked blue trail). Some of the other trails were extremely technical with many difficult climbs and then narrow downhill sections (pretty much just a bunch of hike-a-bikes). Has been used by many mountain bikers as seen by the occasional log-ride setup and cleared out landing area for cliff drops. I haven't done all of the trails yet, but so far, Ride: Blue Trail, Purple Trail, Red Trail, White Trail Stay away from unless you want to hike: Yellow Trail, Green Trail
