Review: Not sure if a full face is mandatory but a big set of balls and at least 6" of travel is! Some of the best riding to be had and easy to follow the trail. Some new stash put in my NEMBA...place just keeps getting better and worth getting lost in for a day. Park behind the Wendy's off Rte 85 and follow the bike bath to the powerlines

Review: There are A LOT of trails out there, and this Vietnam playground lured me and my buddy for the hour drive out there. First off if you want parking, look up the Upper Charles River Trail, thats the trail that follows the old RR track. Vietnam isn't technicaly the name of the park so how did it get the name?? I was rather disappointed though, the trails are not marked what so ever except for colored bottle caps that lead to who knows where, random tape on trees and such. Unless you want to be lost for hours like me, bring someone familiar with the park. Prepare to get wet, lots of marsh and rivers and few bridges over them. Add to that the trails are poorly maintained and overgrown. There are still trees down from the hurricane it looks. We moved a few, but we ran into perhaps a dozen trail sections blocked by large trees 12+ inches thick. Hopefully I can return sometime and review this place better, by the time we got out to the general location of this "VIETNAM" we were ready to head to the Wendys and call it a day (6 hours of riding)

Review: I had stayed away for so long hearing what a big bike playground it is. Although there is some real big hit stuff to enjoy here, there is PLENTY of xc trails to enjoy. Some technical rock gardens, and some nice trails to catch some speed. It is an all around playground for whatever your riding preference.

Review: Not much more to add other than that it's a great place to ride if you like technical features. Some real big bit stuff back there but if you look you can find some great single and double track. Recommend a map as it can be easy to go in circles

Review: What can you say it is one of the few MTB dedicated trail systems in MA. I tend to stay clear of the freeride park. Or at least I did till I got my Ibis Mojo. The single track is nice and super technical with several rock gardens. You can weave you way onto double track sections that allow for some faster riding.

Review: I used to ride this trail around 2001-2003 and I'm not sure if NEMBA had it yet or not. I loved it! Challenging and different terrain everywhere. Crazy climbing and great downhill. And to me....The mud was the best part! Yaaaaa!

Review: Been awhile since anyone's updated this - Vietnam is probably one of the more premier riding locales in MA now. NEMBA has taken over and designed miles of trails, stunts, and amazing lines for all types of ability. Almost any stunt can be ridden around, and a good guide can show you everything from 10' drops to awesome rollers to killer smooth singletrack to rooted forests to a massive rock garden. Everything is in here, but it's still a giant network and not easy to find your way around unless you really know it. Go to the NEMBA forum, find a guide, and ride hard!

Review: I too think this is overrated....for now. Its hard to get into, ridiculously annoying when wet and not well marked. Maybe NEMBA will get it going because this place does have amazing potential.

Review: Vietnam trails isn't the claim to fame. When it rains it washes the trils out for weeks. the singletrack is ok but most of it is dirtbike trtails. If you dont mind getting lost and riding in a half foot deep mud for a while then go to nam.But go when theres a draught because when its wet you could call it a swamp. i have to say the jump park is ok and if you bike a few miles out theres trails that roll for ever like a roolercoaster.

Review: After alot of rain in New England, this place gets MUDDY! Covered in leaves, ran into a few dirt bikers, and some j***face was sighting in a rifle in the woods on Sunday (illegal in Massachusetts), so that limited the riding. All in all, though, 2 hours of great drops and fun as always!

Review: UPDATED DIRECTIONS AND NEWS: Take Exit 19/Milford off of 495. At the McDonaldís/Burger King across from each other, go through the intersection towards Kmart. Drive past Kmart and pull into the Radisson Hotel parking lot. Park away from the building and ask the people at the desk nicely if you can park there ñ theyíre fine with it, but bikers need good PR, too! Enter the access path across the street next to the Meineke going under the bridge; stay straight on all those trails, crossing two roads, for about 20 minutes ñ youíll know the Nam trails when you get there! The land on the entry path is slowly being developed, so we may not be able to go that way for too long!

Review: GRAVY FRIES! Best riding I've found yet; park at the Radisson Hotel in Milford (stop in and ask if its okay to park) and enter the dirt across the street next to Meineke. The ride in is quick, and the trails themselves are insane - great wall rides and a jump park in the back corner of the place. Too much to say about this place - absolutely phenomenal!

Review: This place is SICK!! Excellent freeriding, some really good downhill, wallrides, drops. I ride a Norco Torrent (hardtail), and it was friggin awsome with it, if anyone says you can't do this on a hardtail, they're wrong!

Review: Great place to ride if you like nice technical trails with plenty of opportunities to test your skills. A recent note: if you park at the AAC Bar please make sure you stop in and buy a drink or burger afterwards and park away from the main entrance. The owner is slowly getting pissed about people hopping around on bikes, comming to use the bathroom, etc and never giving her any business - we keep this up and we won't have a place to park.

Review: When we go riding my 1st choice is vietnam. Any level rider can go because there is so much stuff to do. You can easily stay all day and do really cool downhills, drops, wall rides, go through really technical trails. Hopefully NEMBA will have enough to purchase the land by October.

Review: This place whips a donkeys butt with a belt. There are some really great technical sections on the norhtern side of the power lines, but the best trail is on the south side. My buddies and I like to refer to it as supertrail. The name alone should give you an idea of how good it is. When mastered and ridden fast, everything else seems no fun. Seek and you will find the supertrail. You will know it is the one.

Similar Trail: NONE: all others pale. This one really knocks it out.

Review: After right at B.K. & McD's, follow road past hotel. take first right & go under bridge. 500 feet up the road on the left is where you begin your journey. park where ever possible. Ride up the bumpy, gravel incline around the high voltage fenced in area. continue up and over the hill. climb second hill and bear right. trails begin on right. varying terrain, quick-turning trails, roller coaster ride of sorts. rally on.

Review: Best riding in MA that I've found. Lots of stuff to play on. Lots of techinical trails, but plenty of less technical stuff from point to point so the ride isn't slow. Very few dead ends and HUGE. This place will keep you entertained for years.
