Description: This is an intermediate level loop in the Phil’s World network of trails

As the network of trails has grown at Phil’s World, there are more options
to meet the needs and interests of different bikers. Although nothing is
particularly technical at the Phil’s World trail network, this route is a good,
fun route for intermediate riders. It avoids the harder parts of “Stinking
Springs Trail” but cutting through the middle of Phil’s world.

This route is eight and a half miles of singletrack that includes the often-
talked-about “Rib Cage” and allows you to double back to redo the Rib
Cage as often as you want.
Since the signage is good at Phil’s world, these instructions are based on
signs rather than mileages. Enter the start gate into Phil’s World and
follow the one-way markings to the left. Take the left fork (“Coco Race”) at
the first junction.

When you arrive at the second junction, you will see a “Lemon Head” sign
pointing left. Take a RIGHT here.

The next junction you reach has a sign for the “Ledges Loop” going left.
Again, take a RIGHT here.

Keep bearing right and you will come to a sign announcing the imminent
approach of the Rib Cage. Fasten your seat belt. After the whoop-de-do’s
are over, there is another junction labeled “More Ribs – Just Don’t Eat It.”
This is the corner that will bring you back to the “Lemon Head” junction and
allow you to do the Ribs again if you want.

Otherwise, keep going through “Osprey Alley” and look for a hidden trail
going to your left that is signed “2 More.” Turn left onto this trail.

After crossing the road you will come to a trail crossing. Go straight across
this junction to return to the parking lot. Turn left if you want to do the
“Hippie House Loop.”

There's so much that's pure fun at Phil's World you'll want to do it all .... again and again. This route allows you to get at the "Rib Cage" and do it over and over.
