Description: This is some challenging singletrack through the forest & over slickrock up and around a bowl at the base of Lee Mountain. The extremely scenic surroundings make it a bit difficult to keep your eyes on the trail- There are a few bootleg trails in the area but if you stay to the right on this one you will get to the end. The trail climbs a bit for the first mile, first through the forest and then up a bit of a wash until it breaks out into a slickrock bowl near the top. Follow cairns or tracks up and around the slick rock to the left gets you back onto the singletrack starting a downhill grade through the trees. About .7 mi later the trail runs along a natural bench in the rock, at the end of this bench is another Y, go left here if you would like to go straight back to the Bell Rock Pathway. Continuing on for another mile of twisting an turning through the trees the trail will dead end at the Little Horse Tr. You may turn around and ride back on the Llama Tr or take a left here to get back to the B. R. Pathway in .5 mi. This trail has some technical spots, some big drops and is popular with hikers so please pay attention and be courteous. At the B. R. Pathway turn left and ride about 1.5 back to your starting point.

This is a fantastic trail. It has a great variety of singletrack, bot buff and technical, both fast and flowy and tight and twisty, with some slickrock and air opportunities. There is great scenery around every corner. And, you can combine it with other fantastic trails like Broken Arrow and Templeton to make your own epic ride. Or, you could play here all day, taking the various inbetween trails offering a great number of loops. The trail is great in either direction. No matter what you do, you can't lose.
Similar Trail: Loop this up with Bell Rock, Mystic, Chapel Trail and Broken arrow.
