Description: To start the trail #9, go to the far end of the parking lot away from the entrance, take the street going uphill and in the grassy area to your left you will see the start of the trail. On a tree you will see the #\'s 7 8 9 in black with a white background. The trail will cross the street again, follow the trail marked with the 9. The trail will be a double track to start with at .32 miles the trail will turn rightand you will start going up a pretty steep hill. Enough to get your heart pumping. At .94 miles you will see a hunting stand with trail #9 running below it, take that trail, it will be a singletrack. At 1.10 miles, the trail splits, go left towards the 7 9 trail. You will now be on a double track, at 1.42 miles it splits again, follow trail # 9. The trail forks at mile 2.47, take it to the left, for the next quarter mile it is a SWEET technical downhill single track. Be careful, there are a few rocks and small drops. The trail turns right into some double track, when you vere right @ 2.64 miles. At 2.75 miles, go left at 2.87 you will see a single track on your left just before the street, take that singletrack, shortly after it will turn into doubletrack. Here is where it gets a little tougher..at 3.42 miles you will see a black triangle sign, and also the marker for trail #9 going up to the right. You will have to carry your bike up for just a little bit, then you can hop back on and ride up the mountain, you will ascend at a not too steep rate, but still a good workout, until you come to a street, cross over the 2 lane slightly to the right over to a doubletrack. The trail splits at 3.75 miles at a little cabin and a sign. Take the right trail, which is still trail #9. This is a very STEEP climb, really hard to do when there are a lot of leaves on the ground! When you get to the top at 4.10 miles, you will see a very old stone Lookout tower, at the top of the tower, you can see for miles! There are 98 steps to get to the top if you are interested in a nice view. To start your descent, go behind the tower and take the awesome singletrack down trail #9. It is rocky and steep! At mile 4.23, the singletrack veres left and turns into doubletrack. Follow the trail until 4.70 miles. There will be another steep downhill on your right and you will see painted on a tree to the left of the downhill 3 crosses, they are green, blue and red in color. The trail is very fast, but rocky, watch for rocks and there was a small fallen tree parallel with the path and in the middle of it. the trail will come to a 2 lane street, at mile 4.96. NOTE: If you need to get back home for some reason, you can take a left on the street to take you back, your riding time will be about 45 minutes and at just over 5 miles. If you have more time, take the trail across the street, it will be the first half of the trail that you started on. I went back on the trail, you will take the singletrack to the left and follow trail #9 back. You should end up riding about 8 miles or so with an average of 8.43 mph. I just explored some of the other trails and they are very nice also. Can\'t wait to hit those. Oh and the climbs will wear you out. Have fun and enjoy!

Great trail! Fun one to ride with a bunch of tough climbs and slightly technical downhills. There are just a couple of spots that you have to be careful on, but other than that, get crazy and have fun.
