As previously stated, nothing flat about it. After the inital climb from the parking lot, you are rewarded with 2 miles of sweet downhill over creeks, water bars, loose rocks, and rocking trail. The final climb out to the parking lot was a challenge that will certainly make you pay for those earlier smiles while hauling tail downhill. Combine this with Stanley Gap, Green Mt, and Long Branch for an epic ride.

Nice trail to combine with stanley gap. While this trail is somewhat wider and tamer, if ridden counter clockwise (i think) you will get to thrash some AWESOME technical descents that are just a feast at high speeds! Crazy fun!

Much easier than the Stanley Gap route. This trail is wide and fast but as the other reviews have mentioned, it certainly is not flat. Good scenery and fun stream crossings.

Hardly anything flat about it (other than a tire maybe). Riding counterclockwise you grind uphill on easy terrain for about 2 miles, then hang on for a descend down basically a dry creek bed and sweet singletrack for 2 miles, then it's a tough uphill climb back to a short downhill... I got close-lined by a thick vine on the downhill, and met 2 people who have broken bones on it... but still a fun challenge.

Thie makes a great Lariat when combined with the STanley Gap trail. Start at the ASKA trailhead. Go up over and down stanley gap. Back to flat creek upper entrance. Right at loop junction all the way run the down hill to the creek then climb back the the upper junction of Flat creek Stanley Gap and then down the remainder of Stanley Gap... About 14 miles total.
