Review: Love this place. Love the red dirt, riding between the aspens and near the lakes. Great flow. Signage to get to the trails/parking areas is poor (visit morcmtb.org for direction) There are lots of two-way sections so beware of poison ivy. The trails are narrow and it is busy so you will brush up against weeds when you get out of the way for someone. The two way sections are some of the most flowy sections so its too bad you have to slow down to watch out for people. There is not a ton of difference between the easy and intermediate sections. A few of the hill sections are a good workout and a nice ride down. However, most are two way so be careful. Different trail segments present different challenges (e.g., switchback or hills) but most are flowy with few obstacles to navigate. [I did not get a chance to ride the advanced and expert sections]. Most intersections are well marked with a couple of exceptions.

Review: Wow. Best trails I've ridden. So much flow, so much fun. I stopped at Cycle, Path, and Paddle before heading out for a map and a quick rundown of the trails. I'd highly recommend it to all! I started in Section C, hit D, took the paved path back to the car, then hit A and finally B. I was on a time crunch and the paved path helped shave a decent amount of time off and it allowed me to easily refill my water. Some must hits: Bobsled, Skip, and Screamer (think roller coaster). If you want technical, Timber Shaft is great. It has multiple lines, all double black diamond but for different reasons. Some lines were "easy" while others I walked. Three loops and you can hit them all. Thankfully they start and stop in the same place. Endo Alley and Little Rock are fun also, but pretty short. Regardless of what your level is, you'll love these trails!

Review: A fantastic set of trails! A wide range of difficulty from smooth, easy beginner singletrack to super fast downhills and technical options. A person of any skill level would have tons of fun here. It's a set of trails that feel like there are more downhills than uphills. Amazing!!!

Review: My family and I rode the trails last weekend, and it did not disappoint! Everything you have heard about this trail is right, AWESOME. Great flow to all the single track, all climbs are rewarded with fast fun downhills, and also some great views of the forrest and lakes. We camped at the trailhead, and rode the whole thing from our campsite. Will be gong back soon

Review: Absolutely fantastic trail system. I love riding Copper Harbor but it's a lot of driving from Twin Cities. Now, with Cuyuna only 2 hours away, I have one more favorite place to go. Great flow, not many climbing, and lots of fun and some technical sections which are still avoidable for beginners. Simply best Minnesota trails I've ridden so far.

Review: These trails have a very natural feel to them, the trails and obstacles around the metro area feel very artificial and most that I've ridden are next to swamps or very small ponds. Cuyuna is very hilly with great flow and many lake views. Camping is available.

Review: Amazing fun and fast flowing trail. This trail has something for everyone from beginners to experts. More experience bikers need to check out Timber Shaft skills park.

Review: This trail is so much fun. Make sure to get a map as there are no trail names posted, it can be slightly confusing once out on the trail if you are trying to hit certain trails. If not, just keep riding! Lots of awesome features to this trail, with a mix of everything.

Review: Awesome trail: super fun and scenic. There are plenty of very-technical options for expert riders, but they can be easily avoided, for novices.

Review: Minnesota's newest "destination" mountain bike trail. Trail system is built on old iron mines. A totally awesome trail system with something for everyone. There are dirt roads and paved trails for the less adventures. For the rest there is fun flowing ST, fast flowing ST, lots of fast flowing high bermed down hill runs, huge rollers allowing one to catch so much air you start reaching for the ripcord, and this is only the Huntington Mine Lake/ Mahnomen Unit area. While there are some technical areas here, head over to Yawkey for some advanced and super technical trails, even Hans Rey had a foot dab his first time through. This is a great weekend getaway. Trails have the support of the local communities of Ironton and Crosby. Portsmouth Campground has 25 first come first serve spaces, and is in the middle of the trails. It's a guaranteed blast, so don't spend any more time reading just go ride. More Info http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_trails/cuyuna_lakes/mtnbiking.html

Review: I think this trail is the definition of "flow". And if you want the technical stuff, that's there too. A great trail for everyone, beginners can take it easy and experts can get some speed and air it out. The trail is right in a small town and there is a campsite on the trail.

Review: An absolute blast to ride. Cannot believe how much effort went into making these trails. Trails for every experience level. Climbs, downhills, flats, beautiful scenery. Great town nearby with a supportive bike shop. Worth the drive for anyone who enjoys great mountain biking. Camping spots available.
