Description: This trail is definitely not for beginners. It has a lot of technical climbs and descents- drop offs and stairs, etc. A lot of narrow singletrack along cliffs. This trail takes you to the top of some awesome slick rock with some great views. You can either return the way you came or take one of the connecting trails.

The few times I made it to Sedona this was the trail I wanted to ride first. A very fun and challen-ging trail with the option to add on extra miles with the copius amount of trails in the area. A Sedona classic.

Some slickrock, some singletrack, few drops in there, whole bunch of stuff to have a lot of fun on. Real good trail, and absolutely beautiful. I don't think it's as super technical as others make it out to be, but I'd say it's intermediate-advanced in terms of technicality. Some grunt climbs that make you sweat. Rode this and connected it down to Llama trail, tons of fun.

Similar Trail: Llama trail. Amasa back (Moab)

Very cool! I started at the south end on the Bell Rock Pathway and rode up the Little Horse tr to Chicken Pt. Down the Broken Arrow tr to the parking lot and turned around and did it the other way, a challenging & fun ride both directions. Took a left onto the Llama tr and really enjoyed the fast & twisty singletrack after the techy stuff of Broken Arrow. The Bell Rock Pathway back to the jeep, almost 13 miles- there are so many great trails here, just get a map and start connecting the dots!

This is a Sedona signature ride. Great singletrack, cool slickrock, exposure, and more geology than you can shake a Camelbak at. Can be easily combined with other trails for a true epic. A little easier to ride from north to south, but it's good either way. Be sure to stop by the Devil's Dining Room sinkhole. Play on the slickrock beneath Chicken Point. Ride the dry waterfall down below Chicken Point if you've got the supension and the nerve. Along with Templeton, this is the other Sedona "Must Ride" trail.

Similar Trail: Anything in the area, especially Llama and Templeton.

I am used to riding in GA so this trail was a 180 from what we normally ride. Some really technical areas, a little sand here and there. Great scenery just make sure you stay hydrated.

Similar Trail: Don't know....nothing is comparable in Georgia.

Most Scenic Sedona Ride. Start at horseback parking lot, head north to Broken Arrow on Morgan road and into the beautiful desert. Technical climb but the scenery is worth the pain. When you get to the slickrock at the top, watch the decent (it is called chicken point for a reason). Turn left at the lost trail and rip through the desert and back around to the parking lot.

Being an east coaster we do not get to see trails like this everyday. The scenary in the Sedona area was amazing! I was able to see Bell Rock, Courthouse Rock, Chicken Point, Submarine Rock and Cathedral Rock. The red in the rock and sand is soooo cool! I started riding at the park entrance for Bell Rock. The slick rock section between Bell Rock and Chicken Point was very fun. There are loads of 3-5 ft. drop offs and challenging 90 degree drops from the slick rock. The trail changes as you ride from hard packed to loose large rocks, slick rock, tight single track, wide double track and loose gravel like rock. All these attributes make the trail a great ride as you never get board. I also enjoyed the short climb to Chicken Point! The views from the top Chicken Point is incrediable. The next time I'm in the area, and I will be back, I plan to hit Submarin Rock and Cathedrail Rock.

There are countless trails in and around Sedona. The scenery is awesome and the riding ranges from easy to very difficult. You will find plenty of red rock drops, ledges and natural stairs. While there is not a lot of true elevation change, the terrain combined with loose decomposed rock can make for a challenging ride. The ride to Chicken point is outstanding, but you may need to hike-a-bike a few sections depending upon your skill level. There are 4-5 ft drops and it's moderately technical.

Start on the Bell rock Trail, Take the Little Horse trail to the Mystic Trail, To the Broken Arrow trail. The trails are marked, but a map is helpfull. Chicken Point is actually a stopping point for MTB'rs and Jeep tours. there are great views of the area vistas. From Chicken Point you can see Submarine rock which is a large rock thats fun to ride. The trail has most every condition that the Sedona area has to offer, hard pack, slick rock, sand, rocky down hills and climbs. Stay on the trails or the thorns will get ya!!!
