Model/Year: 2011 XTC 29er 1

Pros: Feels like it rides on rails
Great climber
fairly light stock weight

Cons: Geometry doesnt inspire downhill confidence
sterring can be a bit awkward at times

Recommendation: Overall a great bike from giant. If you can afford to spend the extra money to get the 1 instead of the 2 you will be quite happy with the marginal component upgrade. Great climber, if your looking to begin cross country racing this is a great budget bike to get started on.
