Xtreme Recall CompK Reviews
Description:
Very small, Hi-Res, 19mm, 580 Micro-Cam with option for dual mics and hooks directly into Sony's proprietary port with a right angle plug. Also, have a special Sony battery that powers the camcorder and the Helmet Cam system all at the same time.

| Pros | Reliablity, super light weight, flexibility, old school service/support, Custom Shop | | Cons | None. Just about perfect - and if it's not - they will rebuild to your need no-charge | | Verdict | If you need/want Broadcast quality this is the dope unit. Best for pro racer or TV production. | | Recommended for: People with too much money |

| Pros | easy to use mount, can move from my full face to half helmet. Also it doesn't get confused by the light when coming out of trees into a field. | | Cons | at first I didn't dealing with the AA batteries, but later upgraded to Li-ion, so much easier. | | Verdict | I actually have the 580 camera, and I'm very happy. The sound is good, you can hear it when you bush up against a tree, or breathing hard when pedaling up hill- good on wind noise too. Nothing like the first system I bought years ago. |

| Pros | light weight, plug-n-play, dual mics, great low profile helmet mount, and supurb video quality. | | Cons | Need to have your own recorder, like most helmet cams. | | Verdict | The video quality is the best around, they're a little more expensive...but so worth it. The audio is my favorite part, tried out the Vio a year ago and the audio was clearly not their first concern. Xterme Recall seems to care about all aspects: video, audio and ease of use. | | Recommended for: Anyone |
