Pros
great all around bike. Climbs well and Shreds down hill trails. For the money this bike is very good.
Cons
The brown color of the grips and seat but really just a preference and not performance hindering

If you are considering the bike and it fits in your price range demo it or just buy it you wont regret it. My first ride was descending 6000ft off of pikes peak.

Pros
The Pitch is a great all mountian bike able to climb well and decend like a dream. Relatively inexpensive and rock solid. This bike easily drops 5 footers and still gets around switchbacks.
Cons
The stock seat and grips are uncomfortable. The stock tires have a tendancy to wash out.

I recommend this bike to everyone who likes to ride fast on the way down. If you prefer the climb get a 29er. You may have to wait for me at the top. But, I will wait for you at the bottom.
Pros
I was looking for a bike to climb hills with for a "low" budget but could still rip up the DH portions without having to drop off the bike at the shop after each ride... this bike is amazing. Upgraded and installed the spring in the PIKE and with the adjustability in the front and rear shocks, you can tune this bike to do what you want.
Cons
Components leave room for desire. invest some $$ in upgrading components and this is a fine machine!!!

This bike was my first softail and has been worth every penny. If you don't have the money to have different bikes for different occasions this is a great choice. Not for the racer or avid downhill rider but would work for just about anyone else.
