Pros
"Real" mountain bike in a kid's size.
Decent components.
Excellent build quality.
Durable.
Cons
A little heavy.
Stock tires are good on pavement but pretty weak for serious off road.

We have two of these, one for each daughter. The bikes have held up extremely well and they look and work just like my Specialized Rockhopper.
My older daughter has rocked some pretty serious trails with hers, first on the 20" wheeled version and now the 24" one.
If you have kids who want to ride with you, do them a favor and get them a real bike. It makes a huge difference in their enjoyment level.
