Description: (from shimano.com)
Shimano's SH-MT40s are all-purpose shoes great for commuting and recreational spinning on and off road. They're comfortable, sporty and easily accept cleats (sold separately) when you're ready for the efficiency of clipless pedals. Plus, they're easy to walk in so you'll be able to bike to the store and walk around in comfort.

ProsDoesn't look anything like a road shoe and has a comfortable fit. I also like the fact that even after several creek crossings, I never developed a blister.
ConsSole is a bit flexy when you crank the power on, but not too bad.
VerdictI would recommend this shoe to anyone looking for a switch over to SPD pedals and does not feel the need to spend a ton of money.
Recommended for: Recreational riders
