I have this on my old hardtail, which is now my commuter. When combined with an XT derailleur and Sram PC-870 chain it shifts crisply and never slips.
When it wears out, I will get another just like it.

Pros
32-11 is a good range,
no problems shifting
8 speeds
i've put it through mud, water, gravel & no hicups

if u need to change your gear ratio,replace, upgrade this is a good choice

Provides lots of torque for climbs. Yet at the time it allows for loads of various speeds.
