Description:
29’ers may be all the rage, but in our humble opinion, this is far from a ‘here today, gone tomorrow’ type trend. Big wheels smooth out the trail surface, offer gobs of traction, and roll like there is no tomorrow.

Our El Mariachi Complete is a great bike value using a versatile frameset. Start with our stock 1 x
9 build and we guarantee you’ll enjoy the ride.

The El Mariachi frameset is crafted of True Temper OX Platinum tubing and uses a Bushnell eccentric bottom bracket. As a 29’er, its larger wheels smooth out the bumps and offer a premium in traction. The geometry is dialed, providing excellent handling and maneuverability in the woods. El Mariachi rides as a mountain bike should and not like some oversized circus freak (nothing against circus freaks, mind you).

Pros
Big wheels keep on rolling.....Gike keeps on grinning. This bike changed my riding habits. I put a shock on it because I have never owned a shocked bike in my 28 years of riding bikes. Old habits are hard to break, but this bike feels like a luxury liner. The 1x9 setup is ideal when you've ridden a SS/fixie for the last 8 years. Steel is real. A Solid performer

Cons
Not a fan of the small block 8's. Switched to folding bead maxxis and WOW!!

Pros
9 Speed is a great set-up Steel frame and fork offer a great feel for the trail, I ride a blend of fast single track and technical as well the bike performs great.

Cons
The seat post creeps down while riding rough trails, a couple of good size drops my handlebars have swung down (the stem only has 2 bolts)

I have riden this bike hard all season and have had ne problems except for the seat creeping down and the handlebars swinging down a couple times. I am planning to replace the seat post and stem and will continue hammering the trails :)
